PALLADEO ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTOR

GLENDALE, Calif., Nov. 11, 2008 - Palladeo announced today the appointment of Nathalie Gonzalez to sustainability director, a newly created position within Palladeo to drive the company's sustainability efforts at the corporate level. Further, Gonzalez's expertise in sustainable design and construction will expand the range of services Palladeo offers to increase sales for retail clients.

Gonzalez, an architect and a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, will be responsible for the continued development and implementation of sustainable business practices and work processes across the organization. This includes Palladeo's ongoing commitment to resource conservation, sustainable materials manufacturing and construction waste recycling.

In addition, Gonzalez will provide counsel to the firm's retail clients who are looking for guidance in green building, offering expertise in the LEED certification process and sustainable best practices in environmental design, fixture and décor fabrication, construction, remodeling and renovation.

Prior to Palladeo, Gonzalez traveled the world learning about green building practices and sustainable living. This included her participation in Tribewanted on Vorovoro Island, Fiji, where she learned to build using traditional methods. As a green building consultant, Gonzalez worked with architecture, planning and interior design companies such as Swaback Partners pllc in Scottsdale, Ariz. Her other consultative work includes feasibility studies, site analysis and community and urban planning across the U.S., including projects in Hawaii, Texas, Arizona and Washington.

Gonzalez attended the University of Arizona College of Architecture for her undergraduate studies and received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington. She is a licensed architect in Arizona and Washington. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architects Registration Board and the United States Green Building Council's Los Angeles chapter.
